The rules of the age
Strict roleplay means staying in character, keeping to the rules of the age, and letting every choice carry its weight.
Stay in character
What your character says, they say in character. Keep out-of-character talk to /b, /pm and our Discord.
No powergaming
Give others a fair chance to answer your actions. Never force an outcome onto another character. When fortune should decide, use /try or /chance.
No metagaming
Your character knows only what they have seen, heard or been told in the realm - not what you read on Discord, the live map or in OOC chat.
Value your life
Fear a blade at your throat. Death is roleplayed: you wake in an infirmary, wounded, and poorer.
Crime, with weight
Robbery, theft, burglary and worse have a place if they make a story. Give your victims a chance to roleplay back, and be ready for the Watch.
Respect the staff and the players
If something goes wrong, /report it and keep playing. Disputes are for the staff, not the chat.
