Tournaments
The marshal opens the lists: fighters pay to enter, the champion takes it all.
- The lists open
A marshal (the staff) opens them where they stand, with an entry fee and sometimes a purse. The realm is told; F2 > The realm > The tournament shows it and enters you (
/tjoin), at the lists. - The draw
The pairs are drawn by lot, a knock-out, one bout at a time before everyone; an odd fighter passes a round by lot.
- A bout
It ends when one yields (
/tyield), falls, or the marshal names the winner. - The champion
Takes the fees and the purse (the finalist a tenth), a name in the land (+35 renown) and influence for their faction in the town.
