Buying and ordering furniture
Three ways to get a piece of furniture: order it from a carpenter, buy it from another player, or buy it at once with KCD Points. For anyone furnishing a home, a room or a business.
Ordering from a carpenter
- Order
Catalog > the piece > Order: choose how many (up to 5), your price, and the town where it is delivered (the nearest is listed first). The window suggests a price - the goods, the carpenter's fee and a quarter more for the work - and you may offer less, down to a quarter of it. Up to 5 orders at a time.
- The price is held
It leaves your purse at once and is held. Cancel before a carpenter takes the order and you get it back. If nobody takes it within 3 days, it is returned to your account at the moneylender.
- A carpenter takes it
Carpenters see the open orders on their board (the Orders tab) and take one. It shows in their journal, and they have 3 days to make the pieces and deliver them from the Orders tab, standing in the town of delivery. If it is not delivered in time, the order goes back on the board.
- Delivered
The pieces go into your decorations, and the price goes into the carpenter's purse.
Buying and selling between players
My decorations > Sell: set a price for each piece (1 to 100 000 groschen) and how many to sell. The pieces leave your decorations while they are for sale, and you can withdraw them at any time. In the catalogue, Buy for X gr. takes the cheapest offer for that piece, whoever is selling it: the coins go to the seller's purse, or to their account while they are away. Up to 10 offers at a time.
With KCD Points
Buy for X KP puts the piece in your decorations at once, for 5 to 150 KCD Points depending on its size and rank - most pieces cost 5 to 10. A piece bought with KCD Points is bound to you: you can place it, pick it up and place it again as often as you like, but never take it out as an item, sell it, or deliver it for an order. The window counts your bound pieces.
