Treasure maps
A hooded traveller in any tavern sells scraps of maps to buried purses.
- Buy one
In a tavern: talk to the innkeeper > Buy a treasure map (60 groschen), or
/treasure buy. One map at a time, good for two days. - Read it
It names the region - a direction from a town, and a place nearby - and marks the spot on your compass, roughly: somewhere within forty paces of the sign.
- Find the chest
Search the chests out in the wilds around the sign. Opening the right one finds a buried purse (70 to 170 groschen, now and then far more) besides whatever the chest holds.
